Overview

Leading Mission-Critical Electrical Contractor

A fast-growing electrical contractor is building out its mission-critical project delivery team across some of the most active hyperscale markets in the US. This is a hands-on PM role at the centre of large-scale data center electrical construction - working directly with field leadership and senior stakeholders to deliver complex projects on time, on budget, and to spec.

What you'll be doing

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients, engineers, and stakeholders - and build the plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver them

  • Lead and manage project teams including electricians, technicians, and subcontractors - setting expectations, monitoring performance, and keeping work moving

  • Coordinate resource allocation across materials, equipment, and personnel; manage procurement and vendor relationships to keep supply on track

  • Supervise all aspects of project execution - safety, quality, schedule, and budget - and take proactive action when things deviate

  • Manage change orders and scope adjustments efficiently, documenting and communicating impacts to all relevant parties

  • Implement QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and client requirements

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and deliver regular progress reports to management and clients

  • Lead project close-out - reviewing performance, completing all deliverables, and submitting final documentation and invoices

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of recent experience as a Project Manager in electrical data center construction - this is a firm requirement

  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations in a data center construction context

  • Proficiency with project management tools including Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and P6

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - change orders, scheduling, take-offs, and client communication

  • NFPA 70E or OSHA certification

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions under pressure

Bonus if you have

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field

  • Experience on hyperscale or large-campus data center programmes

  • Background working for an electrical contractor in the mission-critical space
