Leading Mission-Critical Electrical Contractor
A fast-growing electrical contractor is delivering large-scale data center infrastructure across the most active hyperscale markets in the US. With a reputation for turnkey critical electrical execution and a rapidly expanding mission-critical division, they need an experienced Electrical Superintendents to lead field operations on a major project - managing large crews, driving schedule, and holding the line on quality and safety.
What you'll be doing
Lead and oversee all electrical craft employees on site - managing performance, accountability, and day-to-day field operations
Partner closely with the project management team to maintain schedule and budget adherence across the full project lifecycle
Own the electrical construction schedule - maintaining accuracy, training foremen on 3-week look-ahead planning, and ensuring it's monitored and followed
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment required for the project
Implement and enforce QA/QC standards, ensuring all work meets specification and compliance requirements
Champion site safety - conducting audits, delivering toolbox talks, and ensuring full compliance with OSHA and company EH&S policies
Manage field communication between all project stakeholders - clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Report policy, procedural, or safety violations promptly and ensure your team knows and follows the rules
What you'll need
8+ years in the electrical trade, with at least 3 years in data center construction - this is a firm requirement
Proven experience managing multiple crews of 150+ craft employees on complex projects
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing
Solid organisational skills with clear, confident communication across all levels of a project
Valid driver's licence with a clean record
A genuine commitment to safety and quality - not just on paper
Bonus if you have
10+ years in the electrical trade, with a heavy data center focus
Experience developing and managing overall construction schedules
Strong procurement skills - material ordering, vendor comparison, and supply chain coordination
Demonstrated ability to coordinate manpower planning across large, fast-moving sites
